Michelle Obama Monkey Picture is Top Google Search

Google issued an apology in response to their role in allowing an offensive picture of Michelle Obama, to skyrocket to the top of their image search results. It's been reported that Google removed the image once before, because it violated some sort of agree. This time, they are saying it's not their fault that so many people are interested in seeing this picture.

Google's apology:

Sometimes Google search results from the Internet can include disturbing content, even from innocuous queries. We assure you that the views expressed by such sites are not in any way endorsed by Google. [...] We apologize if you've had an upsetting experience using Google. We hope you understand our position regarding offensive results.

Okay... so what do you think? Is this is a big deal, or, are some people too uptight?

Good Morning America Says Good Night to Adam Lambert

Is guess what's good for the girls, isn't good for the gays. When Madonna and Britney Spears kissed, it boosted their popularity. Not to mention the fact that straight guys and Chaz Bono thought it was hot! But some American viewers just aren't ready to see two guys swapping spit!

That would be 1,500 viewers to be exact! Because that's the number of anti-Lambert emails GMA received. And that's all it took for them to pull their invitation right out from under Lambert's feet.

CBS, who isn't as homophobic, graciously booked Lambert for ' The Early Show. Good Morning America's decision may have made 1,500 people happy, but how many people did they piss off in the process? Time will tell, my friends! Time will tell!

Will Rupert Murdoch Bring Down Google or Destroy His Own Empire?

Rupert Murdoch has an axe to grind with Google. The media mogul is accusing the King of Search Engines, of destroying the newspaper business. Murdoch wants us, you, and me, to be charged for access to online news. He also wants to charge Google for listing certain online news sites with their search engine, namely his.

Murdoch is in negotiations with Microsoft, the owner of Bing. Supposedly, Microsoft has agreed to pay Murdoch for listing his news media sites, which would guarantee him a steady source of revenue. Microsoft is hoping that other online media giants will follow. But if they're smart, they'll stay put.

If Murdoch thinks that Google is going to crumble in his absence, he is sadly mistaken. If he goes through with his plans to de-index his websites from Google, other news media groups will happily fill the void. And if he thinks people are going to pay for online access, to something anyone who knows how to use a search engine, can get for free - he is in for a rude awakening.

Is Lou Dobbs Ready to be President?

Don't dismiss Dobbs just because he is/was an anchorman. After all, Reagan was an actor before he entered the political arena, and so was Arnold Schwarzenegger. But Dobbs has an advantage that Reagan and Schwarzenegger didn't. He is well versed in politics and regardless of what you think of his political views, Dobbs is a strong presidential contender.

When asked if he was seriously thinking about running for President in 2012, Dobbs said, "I'm going to be talking some more with some folks who want me to listen to them in the next few weeks. I just don't even know even what to tell you in terms of where I'm leaning, because right now I'm fortunate to have just a number of wonderful options."

All I can say is, he's certainly a more viable option than Sarah Palin.

Obama's Guests of Honor Upstaged My Michelle's Radiance

Never-mind who was on the guest list. This night belonged to Michelle Obama. She was absolutely stunning in her champagne gown, accented with dazzling bangles on one wrist. Michelle's hair was styled in a sophisticated up-do. And her ears were adorned with elegant, dangling earrings. She was the picture of perfection.
